Who Are We?

Pioneer Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation which formed in February 2003.  The church has met in La Marque, Texas City, Dickinson, and Santa Fe.  The church currently owns property at 6401 Century Blvd. in Texas City.  We hope one day soon to build on that property.

Pastor Michael Williams is the founding pastor of the church.  Our church is a part of a group of churches which participate in Camp Liberty in Pontotoc, Mississippi.  We believe that salvation is not the result of man's work but is totally by the grace of God in Christ Jesus.  We desire that Christ might receive glory unto His name through the life of our church.
